Job Title: Service Coordinator
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000
Location: Doncaster
Shift: Monday – Friday (40 hours)
My client, a specialist forklift and materials handling company, is seeking an organized and proactive Service Coordinator to join their dedicated service team. This is a key frontline position, responsible for supporting the smooth running of the service operation.
The Role – Service Coordinator (Materials Handling)
In this busy and varied role, you will coordinate the day-to-day activities of field-based engineers, ensuring breakdowns and service jobs are allocated efficiently and completed to a high standard.
This is a cradle-to-grave position where you will:

• Open and manage service jobs from start to finish
• Allocate breakdowns and planned work to engineers
• Liaise with customers and engineers throughout the job lifecycle
• Process service documentation accurately
• Ensure clear communication between all parties
• Support the overall efficiency of the service department

You’ll be a central part of the operation, dealing with both internal teams and external customers, so strong organization and communication skills are essential.
Skills & Experience

• Experience coordinating a field-based team of engineers (ideally within materials handling, plant, or a similar industry)
• Strong communication skills – confident liaising with engineers and management
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize a busy workload
• Positive, proactive attitude with strong attention to detail
• Customer-focused approach
