Job Title: Transport Manager
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000
Hours: Monday to Friday
About your new company:
A well-established Plant Hire company who puts its employees as their number one asset is seeking a Transport Planner. As the Transport Manager you will be required to coordinate the company’s fleet of vehicles and drivers across 3 depots

About your new Transport Manager role:

  • Oversee the planning and coordination of all transport operations, ensuring timely delivery and collection of plant and tool hire equipment across all 3 depots.
  • Route plan for multiple vehicles and ensure Drivers have correct paperwork to complete their duties.
  • Supervise and manage the drivers’ workloads in compliance to all aspects of UK law
  • Investigate root causes of service failures

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Previous experience as a Transport Planner or Transport Manager
  • Experience with Plant Machinery is desirable
  • Good problem solving and people management skills
  • A valid CPC would be beneficial

Celi and Jamie have both been absolutely incredible to deal with. I applied via indeed and Celi sent me a text message asking when would be good to catch up. Received a call from David Wallace with a job opportunity in my area after previously speaking with the agency about work.
After a quick chat he set up an interview with the employer and five days from the initial call I was offered the job.
