Vehicle Damage Assessor

Position: Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA)
Location: Ashford
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:00 (45.5-hour week)
Pay: Up to £50,000 (Basic + OTE depending on experience & qualifications)

We’re looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join a busy and well-established fleet company in Ashford. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team within modern facilities, offering long-term career prospects and excellent earning potential.

Key Duties of the Vehicle Damage Assessor:

• Inspect damaged vehicles to assess the full extent of damage
• Accurately estimate repair costs using industry systems
• Liaise with technicians, parts departments, and insurers to ensure efficient repairs
• Ensure all repair work is cost-effective and completed to industry standards
• Maintain clear and accurate records of assessments and repair progress

To be Successful in this Vehicle Damage Assessor Role You Will Need:

• Previous experience working as a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) or in a similar estimating role
• Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair processes and industry standards
• Experience using estimating systems such as Audatex or similar (preferred)
• ATA accreditation is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
