Senior LCV Technician
Basic Salary: £42,000-£46,000
Hours: Monday to Friday days only
Overtime: Available at enhanced rates
My client, a respected name in the Hire sector, is looking for a qualified Senior LCV Technician to support their team. Responsible for the workshop maintaining vehicles, carrying out inspections, repairs and services, work allocation & prioritisation, team holidays & time sheets.
What you’ll be doing in your new LCV Technician role:

Carrying out diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on vans and LCVs
Conducting maintenance checks and identifying potential issues early
Repair or replace broken or defective parts.
Attend breakdowns on site, fault diagnosis and correct rectification.
Correctly process all jobs on the works handheld tablet to include the allocation of labor and any parts used.
Supporting the team with warranty work and paperwork
Performing wheel alignments, tyre work and test drives

The successful LCV Technician will have:

Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (NVQ, IMI, or City & Guilds)
Proven LCV or vehicle servicing experience
Confidence using diagnostic tools and workshop systems
Strong problem-solving ability and great attention to detail
Valid UK driving licence
