Salary: £39,000 – £42,000

Overview
Our client, a reputable forklift manufacturer are seeking a skilled Technician to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at using various power and hand tools. This role requires the ability to perform heavy lifting and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and systems.
Duties

• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilise power tools and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
• Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
• Follow all health and safety regulations while working on-site.

Expectation

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in a similar role preferred.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting, with a focus on maintaining proper lifting techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to work, with a willingness to learn new skills as required.

Required

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an LCV Technician.
• NVQ Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance Repair
• Driving licence
