Site Forklift Engineer
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week

The OpportunityA leading national forklift dealership is seeking an experienced and motivated Site Forklift Engineer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable business that values its engineers and offers long-term career development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment
  • Diagnose faults efficiently and carry out necessary repairs to a high standard
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Provide excellent customer service while working on-site
  • Support continuous improvement of equipment reliability and performance

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a forklift engineer, plant engineer, or similar role
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Received a call from David Wallace with a job opportunity in my area after previously speaking with the agency about work.
After a quick chat he set up an interview with the employer and five days from the initial call I was offered the job.
