LCV Technician – Night Shift (Kidderminster)

Salary: £45,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 21:30 – 08:00 (night shift)
Contract: Permanent

Earning Potential (OTE)

Basic Salary: £45,000 per year
Overtime Rate: Paid at time-and-a-half (1.5x)
Saturdays: Paid at overtime rates
Realistic OTE: Details of additional earnings to be discussed at interview

Overview
We’re looking for a skilled LCV Technician to join an award-winning team in Kidderminster on a permanent night shift. This role offers a condensed 4-night working week (Monday–Thursday), giving you a three-day weekend every week. Our client has been named Motor Trader’s ‘Employer of the Year’ and is an official Great Place to Work™. You’ll benefit from an extra day off for your birthday, 16 nights holiday + bank holidays, internal mentorship, and a wellness programme with 24-hour GP access.

Key Responsibilities

Perform major and minor repairs to light commercial vehicles
Carry out regular inspections and preventive maintenance services
Diagnose and repair complex technical issues
Maintain workshop inventory and cleanliness
Work with repair teams to diagnose and plan vehicle repairs
Maintain accurate records using appropriate systems
Complete warranty documentation and customer paperwork
Carry out wheel alignment and tyre fitting

What You’ll Need

Recognised Level 3 qualification in LCV Vehicle Repair and maintenance (NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI)
Experience in carrying out diagnostic and service repairs
Ability to identify worn and faulty components in line with DVSA Standards
Full UK driving licence for relevant vehicle classes
Passenger car experience will also be considered
