The Role (Mobile & Site Opportunities Available)
As a Forklift Engineer, you will:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Conduct LOLER inspections and ensure all equipment meets compliance standards
- Complete thorough safety checks and pre-delivery inspections (PDI)
- Carry out breakdowns and reactive maintenance, minimising customer downtime
- Manage your own workload and service schedule effectively (mobile roles)
- Accurately complete service reports, job sheets, and compliance documentation
- Liaise with parts departments to ensure correct parts are ordered and fitted
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Provide a high level of customer service, representing the business professionally at all times

What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Forklift Engineer, Plant Engineer, or similar
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
- Experience or knowledge of LOLER inspections (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
- Full UK driving license (for mobile roles)
- A professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude
