About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive Rental Service Supervisor to support the Service Manager in delivering a responsive, efficient, and customer-focused rental service. You’ll oversee breakdown response, engineer scheduling, and service coordination to maximise fleet uptime and performance.

Service Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

Manage breakdowns and technical helpdesk enquiries
Diagnose faults remotely where possible and coordinate engineer response
Schedule engineers to maximise utilisation and minimise downtime
Monitor service performance and identify recurring issues
Liaise with Parts and depots to support smooth operations
Maintain accurate service records and manage workloads across service areas
Act as the main contact for service enquiries and customer communication
Support Field Service Engineers and day-to-day department operations
Participate in on-call rota (after training)
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and ISO standards

Skills & Experience needed from the Service Supervisor:

Electrical or Mechanical background
Experience in service coordination or technical supervision
Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of generators or plant equipment (desirable)
IT literate and customer-focused
