Workshop Supervisor (Late Shift) – Kidderminster

Salary: £48,500 per annum
OTE: £50,000+ per year
Hours: 45 hours per week, 12:30 – 22:00 (late shift)
Contract: Permanent

Earning Potential (OTE)

• Basic Salary: £48,500 per year
• Overtime Rate: Paid at time-and-a-half (1.5x)
• Saturdays: Paid at overtime rates
• Realistic OTE: £50,000+ per year with overtime

Overview
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Workshop Supervisor to lead late shift operations at our Kidderminster site. This is a key role, responsible for overseeing evening operations, supporting technicians, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the high standards our customers expect. You’ll combine hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities, playing a vital part in maintaining productivity, quality, and compliance during late-shift operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform major and minor repairs to HGVs, trailers, and other vehicles
• Carry out regular inspections and preventive maintenance services
• Supervise and support technicians on late shift
• Maintain workshop inventory and cleanliness
• Work with repair teams to diagnose and plan vehicle repairs
• Maintain accurate records of vehicles repaired
• Complete relevant documentation and warranty claims
• Ensure all work meets DVSA standards and company procedures

What You’ll Need

• Recognised Level 3 qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance (NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI)
• Ability to identify worn and faulty components in line with DVSA Standards
• Previous supervisory experience or senior technician looking to step up
• Strong technical background and diagnostic skills
• Full UK driving licence for relevant vehicle classes
• DBS check required prior to joining
