Workshop Supervisor (Late Shift) – Kidderminster
Salary: £48,500 per annum
OTE: £50,000+ per year
Hours: 45 hours per week, 12:30 – 22:00 (late shift)
Contract: Permanent
Earning Potential (OTE)
- Basic Salary: £48,500 per year
- Overtime Rate: Paid at time-and-a-half (1.5x)
- Saturdays: Paid at overtime rates
- Realistic OTE: £50,000+ per year with overtime
Overview
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Workshop Supervisor to lead late shift operations at our Kidderminster site. This is a key role, responsible for overseeing evening operations, supporting technicians, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the high standards our customers expect. You’ll combine hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities, playing a vital part in maintaining productivity, quality, and compliance during late-shift operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform major and minor repairs to HGVs, trailers, and other vehicles
- Carry out regular inspections and preventive maintenance services
- Supervise and support technicians on late shift
- Maintain workshop inventory and cleanliness
- Work with repair teams to diagnose and plan vehicle repairs
- Maintain accurate records of vehicles repaired
- Complete relevant documentation and warranty claims
- Ensure all work meets DVSA standards and company procedures
What You’ll Need
- Recognised Level 3 qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance (NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI)
- Ability to identify worn and faulty components in line with DVSA Standards
- Previous supervisory experience or senior technician looking to step up
- Strong technical background and diagnostic skills
- Full UK driving licence for relevant vehicle classes
- DBS check required prior to joining
