Mobile Generator Engineer
Salary: £42,000 – £48,000
Hours: Monday to Friday (Days)
Overtime: Paid at an increased rate
The Opportunity
We are working with a large and well-established generator company who are looking to add an experienced Mobile Generator Engineer to their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to join a reputable business that offers strong earning potential, job stability, and clear opportunities for career progression.
The Role
As a Mobile Generator Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out service, maintenance, and repair work on a wide range of diesel and electric generators at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities

Routine servicing and maintenance of generators of various sizes
Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel and electric generators
Attending breakdowns and ensuring equipment is returned to service quickly
Maintaining high standards of health and safety while working on-site
Providing excellent customer service while representing the business

What We’re Looking For

Recognised qualification in Heavy Vehicle, Plant, or Mechanical Maintenance (NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent)
Recent experience working as a Generator Engineer or in a similar role
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently in a mobile role
