Job Role: Van Mechanic / Van Technician
Location: Hyde
Salary: £40,000 – £42,000
Hours: Monday to Friday Days and alternate Saturday mornings (paid at 1.5X)
Shift: Days
Overtime: Available and paid at 1.5 X

Van Mechanic / Van Technician opportunity
My client, a well-established fleet maintenance company with several depots across the North West is actively seeking to employ an additional experienced and qualified LCV Mechanic to be based in their new (opened 6 months ago) state of the art workshop in Hyde. The role is available due to company growth / increased business demands
Van Mechanic / Van Technician duties
• The successful Van Mechanic will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle service and maintenance
• Duties range from correction of running defects to full vehicle overhauls, diagnostics and everything in between.
• You will also be required to undertake pre MOT checks and undertake any repairs that are required.
• You will be working on a modern fleet of commercial vehicles to include vans and cars
Van Mechanic / Van Technician qualifications required
• In order to qualify for the role, the successful Van Mechanic will have industry recognised qualifications NVQ or City & Guilds
• You must have detailed experience as a Van or HGV Mechanic and be familiar with modern commercial vehicles.
- Any experience of breakdowns or onsite clinics would be an advantage
- Any MOT testing experience Classes 4-7 would be highly beneficial
