Parts Manager
Location: Colchester
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Parts Manager to join a well-established and highly respected business within the agricultural and commercial equipment sector.
Working as part of a collaborative aftersales team, you’ll lead the day-to-day running of the parts department, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and an outstanding customer experience at every stage.
The Role As Parts Manager, you will:
- Oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of the parts department
- Lead and support a Parts Advisor, providing guidance and direction where needed
- Manage stock control processes, ensuring accuracy, organisation, and availability
- Process orders, returns, and maintain up-to-date system records
- Handle customer enquiries professionally, both over the phone and in person
- Maintain high standards of customer service and build strong client relationships
- Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Monitor, investigate, and report any stock discrepancies
About You We’re keen to speak with candidates who bring:
- Previous experience in a Parts Manager or Senior Parts Advisor role (automotive, agricultural, or similar industry)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confidence using computer systems and stock management platforms
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional customer service

- Full-time role: 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
