Service Support Engineer
£28,000
Monday – Friday

You will be the link between the field engineers, service department, and customers — reviewing breakdown reports, preparing repair quotations, sourcing parts, and ensuring engineers have everything they need to complete jobs efficiently and correctly.

Service Support Engineer Key Responsibilities;

Review engineer service reports and identify repair requirements
Build accurate repair quotations including labour and parts
Source and identify correct parts for repairs
Liaise with suppliers to secure the best pricing and availability
Work closely with the Parts Department and Service Planners
Process breakdown orders and update customers throughout
Support the smooth running of the service department

What We’re Looking For in the Service Support Engineer;

Strong mechanical knowledge, ideally generators or engines
Previous experience in plant, power generation, construction, agricultural, HGV, or related industries
Ability to understand and interpret technical reports
Strong communication skills with both customers and engineers

Celi and Jamie have both been absolutely incredible to deal with. I applied via indeed and Celi sent me a text message asking when would be good to catch up. We had a catch up the next morning where we discussed the role and experiences.. my CV was sent to the client and an interview was organised by Jamie.
Jamie sent all the information over and then celi Called me in the morning to catch up and wish me luck for the interview..

I had the interview, it was alright.. however I felt that it wasn’t for me however Celi was great in discussing the situation and in no way was this bad on kemps side of things these things just don’t always work out!

Received a call from David Wallace with a job opportunity in my area after previously speaking with the agency about work.
After a quick chat he set up an interview with the employer and five days from the initial call I was offered the job.
The whole process was very easy and not drawn out over many weeks as is the norm when applying for jobs.
