Depot Foreman

£40,000 – £45,000

Monday – Friday

We are looking for an experienced Depot Foreman to lead the Engineering team at our South East Depot.

This is a hands-on role managing Generator PDI Engineers, Electrical PDI Engineers, Workshop Engineers, and Labourers, ensuring the depot runs safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Depot Foreman Key Responsibilities;

Lead and support the depot engineering team
Ensure health & safety and company standards are followed
Oversee workshop operations, PDI processes, stock control, and logistics
Ensure generators and equipment are maintained and ready for hire
Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate records
Attend site surveys, installations, and breakdowns when required
Support engineer development and team performance
Provide out-of-hours call out support as part of the rota

Requirements needed from the Depot Foreman;

Experience in a similar role within power generation or equipment hire
Strong engineering background in plant or diesel engines
Experience leading engineering teams
Good understanding of health & safety and compliance
Strong organisational and communication skills
Full UK Driving Licence

Received a call from David Wallace with a job opportunity in my area after previously speaking with the agency about work.
