£20PH – £22PH
Monday – Friday
Overtime paid at time + half / double time

My Client is currently looking for an experienced Heavy Plant Fitter to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on a range of heavy plant machinery including excavators, dumpers, loaders, telehandlers, rollers, and other construction equipment.

Heavy Plant Fitter Responsibilities:

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy plant machinery
• Diagnosing faults using mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Completing breakdown repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
• Conducting inspections and preventative maintenance
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Working both in the workshop and on-site when required

Heavy Plant Fitter Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Plant Fitter / Heavy Plant Mechanic
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
• Ability to diagnose faults independently
• Full UK driving licence preferred
• Welding experience advantageous but not essential
