Location: Amersham 
Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 DOE + Overtime + Excellent Company Benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday – Friday

My client is looking for a skilled and motivated Agricultural Technician to join their growing team. This is a Monday to Friday role with excellent overtime opportunities, ongoing training, and genuine career progression.

The Role 

As an Agricultural Technician, you’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of agricultural and materials handling equipment. Your time will be split between a well-equipped workshop and customer sites, delivering high-quality service and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults using plug-in diagnostic equipment.
• Service and maintain agricultural and materials handling machinery.
• Carry out repairs on tractors, combines, telehandlers, forklifts and other machinery.
• Complete planned maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Provide professional on-site support and technical advice to customers.
• Accurately complete service reports and relevant documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as an Agricultural, Plant, Forklift or Materials Handling Technician (or a similar role).
• Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic knowledge.
• Experience using diagnostic software and fault-finding equipment.
• Relevant qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent) are desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
