Agricultural Technician

Job Title: Agricultural Technician 
Location: Harrogate Area
Hourly Rate: £13.50 – £17 per hour

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for maintaining equipment both in the workshop and in the field, while providing excellent customer service and supporting our ongoing commitment to safety, quality, and manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on agricultural and turf equipment.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time (job cards, timesheets, etc.).
• Maintain a clean and organised workstation, vehicle, and working environment.
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in ongoing Service Training and Certification programs to further technical knowledge.
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections and setups on new and used equipment.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience performing service repairs on agricultural, turf, or plant equipment.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Competence in major unit overhauls, electrical diagnostics, and hydraulics.
• Minimum NVQ Certification Level 2 (or equivalent agricultural or similar qualification).
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to work extended hours or weekends when required.
