Van Sales Manager
Patch: Grays, Kent, Reading and Luton.
Salary: OTE £80,000 + Car + Enhanced Pension + Health care
About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Van Sales Manager to lead their Light Commercial Vehicle sales operation across the Eastern Region, covering Grays, Kent, Reading and Luton.
This is a key leadership role focused on driving sales performance, increasing market share, improving profitability and developing a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver regional van sales targets and commercial objectives
- Develop and maintain key customer relationships
- Generate new business opportunities and support deal closures
- Lead customer meetings and sales negotiations
- Work with marketing on promotional campaigns
- Manage profitability, stock levels and commercial performance
- Monitor market trends and identify growth opportunities
- Lead, coach and develop the Van Sales team
- Ensure effective CRM usage and compliance with sales processes
- Set objectives and drive team performance
Requirements
- Proven experience managing a successful Commercial Vehicle sales operation
- Strong knowledge of the Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) market
- Track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share
- Experience leading, coaching and developing sales teams
- Formal management/leadership training
- Formal sales training qualifications
- Strong commercial and financial awareness
- Full UK Driving Licence
