Role: Automatic Door Engineer
Salary: Up to £17.00 per hour + Door to Door Pay + Company Van (Personal Use Permitted)
Location: Newcastle, Middlesbrough & Stockton-on-Tees Area
Hours: 42.5 Hours per Week
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x and 2x Rates
On Call: 1 in 8 Weeks | £140 Standby + £80 Call Out Bonus + Overtime Rates

Are you an engineer with experience installing aluminium doors, shopfronts, commercial glazing, entrance systems or architectural aluminium products looking to take the next step in your career? My client is a leading national provider of Automatic Entrance Systems and is looking to recruit an Automatic Door Engineer to join their growing team covering the Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Stockton areas.

Full training can be provided for candidates with aluminium door, shopfront, glazing or entrance systems experience who are looking to move into the automatic door industry. As an Automatic Door Engineer you will be responsible for
Service, maintenance, repairs and fault-finding on Automatic Doors, Sliding, Swing and Revolving.
Following EN16005 guidelines to ensure doors are left in a safe manor
Offering fantastic face to face customer service
Good communication with internal and external stakeholders
Liaising with clients and management to ensure customer requirements are met
Willingness to partake in the on-call rota (approx. 1/8)
Completing paperwork accurately and on time
Ensuring van stock is always kept up to requirements

The successful Automatic Door Engineer will have the following experience
We would particularly like to hear from candidates with experience in aluminium door installation
You should also have good mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
A full UK driving licence.
