LCV Technician – Preston
Shift – Monday to Friday
Hours – 9am to 5:30PM (Some flexibility)
Pay: Up to £17 Per Hour

We’re working with a nationwide commercial fleet operator looking for an LCV Technician to join their Preston site. If you’re confident with inspections, diagnostics and repairs, this could be your next step.

Training & Development Opportunities

MOT Tester qualification (if not already held)
Hybrid and EV training
Progression into HGV maintenance

Responsibilities

Carry out vehicle inspections, servicing, and repairs to manufacturer standards
Perform major mechanical work including cambelts, clutches, gearboxes, and engine repairs/replacements
Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults
Prepare vehicles for MOT testing
Conduct MOT testing (Class 4, 5, and 7) where qualified
Complete job cards accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications

Level 2/3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance
Full, clean UK driving licence
Own tools

Celi and Jamie have both been absolutely incredible to deal with. I applied via indeed and Celi sent me a text message asking when would be good to catch up.
