Resident Forklift Engineer

Role: Resident Forklift Engineer
Salary: £38,000 – £42,000
Location: Bradford
Shift: Monday – Friday (4on4off)
We are currently looking for a Resident Forklift Engineer to join our clients dedicated Engineering team in their commitment in providing a high standard of service output for their customers. We are looking for vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers who have experience working as a forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, vehicle technician or a similar type of role.
Resident Forklift Engineer Main Duties
Working with everything from small pallet trucks, through to IC trucks, VNA trucks and automated trucks, you will be required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites
To be considered for this Resident Forklift Engineer role you will need
Mechanical engineering experience
Electrical engineering experience
Hydraulics experience
Ideally you will have an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification, although this is not essential.
You will need to be IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders.
You must hold a full UK driving licence.
Good communication skills to liaise with our customers and your internal colleagues
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Take pride in your work and complete tasks to the highest standard
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
A positive and can-do attitude
Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the role
A desire to be a brand ambassador
The Resident Forklift Engineer will receive
Salary will depend on experience
15% Shift Premium
