Description

Hours: 50 hours per week
Overtime: Paid at time and a half
Benefits: Company Van + Fuel Card
Location: Covering 3 sites

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join a busy and growing operation. This role will involve travelling between three sites carrying out maintenance, servicing and repairs on a range of heavy plant and processing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain and repair a variety of mobile and static plant equipment
  • Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance
  • Attend breakdowns and minimise equipment downtime
  • Maintain accurate service records and reports
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently

Essential Experience

Good knowledge and working experience of the following equipment is required:

  • Crushers
  • Screeners
  • Static plants, including wash plants and ready-mix concrete plants
  • Excavators
  • Loading shovels
  • Dozers
  • Articulated dump trucks

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Engineer or Plant Mechanic
  • Strong hydraulic, mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload across multiple sites
