Shifts: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week

The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established fleet maintenance operation based in Northolt. Working within a busy Vehicle Maintenance Unit (VMU), you’ll play a key role in ensuring a customer fleet remains safe, compliant, and operational through high-quality servicing, maintenance, and repair work.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technician looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday role with ongoing training, career development, and overtime opportunities.

The Role as a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure maximum fleet availability and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work to a high standard.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently and accurately.
- Complete preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
- Attend customer sites when required to carry out repairs.
- Complete job cards, service sheets, timesheets, and associated paperwork accurately.
- Conduct diagnostic analysis using specialist equipment.
- Provide clear end-of-shift handovers, including vehicle status updates.
- Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the VMU operation.
- Maintain exceptional housekeeping and workshop standards.
- Adhere to all company Health & Safety, Environmental, and Safe Systems of Work procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE and company uniform at all times.
- Assist at other VMU depots when required to support operational demands.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential
- Mechanical experience.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Computer literate with good administration skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Flexible approach to travel between depots when required.
Desirable
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Mechanical and electrical engineering certifications.
- Previous experience within fleet maintenance
