Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE + Door to Door + Van (personal use permitted)
Location: London & Surrounding Areas
Shift: 37.5 hours per week
Overtime: Offered at 1.5x / 2x
On Call: 1/9 day rota
Holiday: 25 days + Bank Holidays + Birthday off

Are you an experienced Automatic Door Engineer specialising in automatic door systems looking to join a growing engineering team? My client is expanding and looking to add a skilled engineer to support installation and service work across London and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist automation business delivering high-quality entrance solutions across commercial buildings, healthcare sites, retail environments and public sector projects.

As an Automatic Door Engineer you will be responsible for
Installing, servicing and maintaining automated door systems
Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
Carrying out planned maintenance and reactive breakdown work
Working with sensors, control panels and safety systems
Supporting other automation systems including shutters, gates and bollards (desirable)
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to compliance standards

The successful Automatic Door Engineer will have the following experience
Strong experience with automated door systems (essential)
Installation, servicing and maintenance experience required
Strong electrical fault-finding ability
Knowledge of wider automation systems advantageous
Ability to work independently on field-based work
Full UK driving licence

The Automatic Door Engineer will receive an excellent remuneration package which includes
Competitive salary based on experience
Door-to-door pay
Company van with personal use permitted
25 days holiday + Bank Holidays + Birthday off
On-call rota (1 in 9 days) with standby and OT enhancements
Enhanced overtime rates (1.5x / 2x)
Long-term stability with progression opportunities
