Salary: £45,000 – £55,000
Shift: 40 hour week
Looking for a job where your skills make a difference every single day? My client, a leading national industrial door specialist, is looking for a positive, proactive Loading Bay Installations Manager to help support their expanding service operations in your region. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing Loading Bay Projects & Installations collaborating with the office & field based teams.
As a Loading Bay Installations Manager you will be responsible for:
Managing and overseeing loading bay installation projects from launch through to completion.
Coordinating office and field-based teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Supporting the Project Assurance Manager and Project Managers in delivering live works.
Ensuring all Health & Safety policies, RAMS, and company procedures are followed at all times.
Planning and managing labour, escalations, and revisits efficiently.
Approving subcontractor and hire invoices.
Providing technical support to engineers, coordinators, and office teams.
Ensuring materials, parts, and enabling works are in place for successful project delivery.
Overseeing job progress, quality assurance, and completion standards.
Managing call-backs, rectification works, and warranty support with aftercare teams.
Reporting project progress, risks, and failed starts to senior management.
Producing weekly and monthly updates for key stakeholders and HODs.
Supporting procurement by chasing parts and coordinating with purchasing teams.
Maintaining job efficiency, profitability, and compliance with QA standards.
Supporting larger principal contractor projects and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Participating in engineer conferences and operational reviews.
The successful Loading Bay Installations Manager will have the following experience:
Strong operational and people management skills, with experience leading teams and engineers.
Background in field installation of loading bay or similar industrial equipment.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organisational ability to manage day-to-day operations and workloads.
Confident leadership skills with a hands-on management approach.
Flexible, adaptable, and open to developing new processes as the business grows.
A positive, “can-do” attitude and strong team player mindset.
The Loading Bay Installations Manager will receive an excellent remuneration package which includes:
£45,000 – £55,000 salary
