Job Title: Mobile Forklift Engineer
Salary: £30,000 – £37,000
Location: Bristol & Surrounding Areas
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:45pm (30-minute break, 41.25 hours per week)
We’re currently recruiting for a Mobile Forklift Engineer to join a well-established and employee-focused material handling company. Due to continued growth and increased workload, they are expanding their team in the Bristol area.

The Role

Servicing, maintenance and repair of a wide range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
Carrying out LOLER inspections to ensure equipment remains fully compliant
Completing safety checks and general inspections
Responding to breakdowns and carrying out reactive maintenance
Managing your own workload and daily schedule across your patch
Accurately completing service reports and compliance documentation
Working on a variety of brands
Patch: Bristol and surrounding areas

What We’re Looking For

Backgrounds considered: Forklift, Agricultural, Plant or strong LCV experience
Time-served engineers welcome (formal qualifications not essential)
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently
Knowledge of LOLER inspections (desirable)
Full UK driving licence
Location requirement: you must live within 15 miles of the Avonmouth

Package

Basic Salary: £30,000 – £37,000
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x
Company Van + Fuel Card provided (business use only)
Company pension scheme
Holiday: 20 days + bank holidays +1 additional day every 4 years (up to 25 days)

Celi and Jamie have both been absolutely incredible to deal with. I applied via indeed and Celi sent me a text message asking when would be good to catch up. We had a catch up the next morning where we discussed the role and experiences.. my CV was sent to the client and an interview was organised by Jamie.
