Are you an experienced Agricultural Service Technician looking for your next challenge? 

The Role

As an Agricultural Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of agricultural machinery to the highest manufacturer standards, ensuring reliability, performance and safety for our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, transmission and engine faults.
• Working with GPS guidance systems, telematics and machine control technology.
• Identifying additional repair opportunities and advising customers on preventative maintenance.
• Completing accurate job reports, service documentation and photographic records.
• Preparing machinery for demonstrations, agricultural shows and customer events.
• Attending manufacturer training courses to continually develop your technical skills.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with overtime and occasional weekend work available during seasonal peaks.

You’ll ideally have:

• Proven experience servicing agricultural machinery, although candidates from construction equipment, commercial vehicles or plant machinery backgrounds will also be considered.
• A qualification in Land Based Engineering or a related engineering discipline (preferred).
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and modern machine technology.
• Good knowledge of GPS, telematics or precision farming systems would be advantageous.
• A full UK driving licence.
