Role: Project Manager
Location: Oxfordshire and Bedfordshire
Salary: £DOE
Shift: Monday – Friday (8.00am – 5.00pm)
My client, a nationally renowned Security and Communications Company that specialise in the design, installation, service and maintenance of integrated security systems and manufacture specialist equipment is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career within the security and communications industry.
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for
Managing construction and upgrade projects involving multiple systems.
Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Overseeing and coordinating engineers and subcontractors throughout each project.
Assisting with the installation of analogue and IP CCTV, access control, intruder alarm and fire systems when required.
Ensuring all documentation, timesheets and job reports are completed accurately and submitted as required.
Ensuring all system installations are completed to a high standard.
Maintaining safe working practices and completing relevant Health & Safety audits.
Delivering a consistently high level of service to customers.
Completing relevant training courses to develop your knowledge, skills and overall performance.
The successful Project Manager will have the following attributes and experience
Previous Project Management experience within the security industry.
Working knowledge of NSI standards and a good understanding of access control, intruder alarms, IP and analogue CCTV, and fire alarm systems.
Ability to read, interpret and work to a Programme of Works.
A keen interest in technology, with the ability to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with customers and colleagues.
A positive, self-motivated and proactive approach, with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
Well-organised, self-disciplined and able to manage time effectively.
A team player with ambition and a willingness to learn new technologies and procedures.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Customer-focused, with a strong commitment to delivering practical solutions and high-quality outcomes.
ECS (CSCS) card.
Willingness to work towards SMSTS/PRINCE2.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Good Microsoft Office 365 and general IT skills.
