About the Role
Kemp Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading plant hire and powered access company for an experienced Van Driver.
This role involves delivering and collecting hire equipment to and from customer sites. You’ll also carry out basic checks and fittings on equipment to ensure it’s ready for hire. It’s ideal for a reliable and practical driver who enjoys hands-on work and a mix of driving and light mechanical duties.
Key Responsibilities

• Driving company vans to and from premises.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects. (Including correct manufacturers service intervals are adhered to
• Ensure that the company’s health and safety policy and procedures are adhered to in relation to all operations.
• Follow company’s Employee handbook policies and procedures.
• Prepare vans for hire, including the valeting, testing and inspecting of welfare vans
• Any other duties requested by your Manager.

What We’re Looking For

• 2 years driving experience on a UK driving licence.
• Some mechanical or tool-hire experience preferred
• Reliable, customer-focused, and self-motivated
• Flexible approach to working hours and travel

What’s on Offer

• £26,000-£27,000
