Our client, a leading commercial vehicle service and repair provider, is recruiting an experienced Auto Electrician to join their busy workshop team. This is a great opportunity to work in a professional environment supporting the maintenance and repair of trucks and vans.

The Role
You will be responsible for electrical diagnostics, fault finding and repairs on commercial vehicles, including:

• Electrical diagnostics and fault finding on trucks and vans
• Repairs to lighting systems, wiring, batteries, alternators and starters
• Using diagnostic equipment and test tools to identify faults
• Completing job cards and service documentation accurately
• Working closely with technicians, service advisors and workshop control
• Ensuring work meets health & safety and manufacturer standards
• Supporting vehicle uptime in a fast-paced workshop

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as an Auto Electrician (cars, vans or HGVs)
• Minimum NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in electrical maintenance
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Experience with commercial vehicles preferred
• Confident using diagnostic systems
• Good time management and attention to detail
• Team player with good communication skills
• Full UK driving licence required
