The Role

As a Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of groundscare and agricultural machinery, including compact tractors, UTVs, ATVs, and grass care equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Servicing, diagnosing, and repairing machinery to manufacturer standards.
• Fault finding using both mechanical and electrical diagnostic techniques.
• Completing accurate job documentation while ensuring all work complies with health and safety standards.
• Installing new equipment and providing customer demonstrations where required.
• Working closely with the workshop and service teams to deliver work on time.
• Travelling to customer sites across the local area to carry out field service work (a full UK driving licence is essential).

You’ll ideally have:

• A Level 3 qualification in Land-Based Engineering or a related discipline such as Plant, HGV, or Construction Equipment.
• Previous experience servicing and repairing agricultural or groundscare machinery.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• A positive attitude and willingness to undertake ongoing manufacturer training.
• The ability to work independently, manage your workload, and perform well under pressure.
• Flexibility to work additional hours during busy seasonal periods when required.
