Agricultural Engineer
Up to £18.50 per hour + Van & Fuel Card
If you’re an engineer who likes being out fixing machinery rather than stuck in a workshop all week, this could be worth a look.
I’m recruiting for an established agricultural machinery business looking for an Agricultural Engineer to join their team.
The role is approximately 70% mobile and 30% workshop, so you’ll have plenty of variety – from visiting farms and diagnosing breakdowns to servicing and repairing machinery in the workshop.
The role
- Agricultural machinery servicing, repairs and fault finding
- Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagnostics
- Customer/farm visits and mobile breakdown work
- Workshop-based repairs and maintenance
- 40 hours per week + overtime
Who we’re looking for Ideally, you’ll have an agricultural engineering background, but I’m also keen to speak with experienced Plant Fitters, Plant Engineers or Heavy Machinery Technicians with strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical skills.
Package
- Up to £18.50 per hour, depending on experience
- 40 hours + overtime
- Company van
- Fuel card
- 70% mobile / 30% workshop
- Manufacturer training and development opportunities
