Position: Master Technician Auto Electrician
Salary: £49,340 – £54,000 per annum
Shift: Monday to Friday, Day Shift
Overtime: Available & Optional
Location: Grimsby
 
We are currently looking for a Master Auto Electrician / Master Vehicle Electrician / Auto Electrical Technician / Master Commercial Vehicle Technician to join our client’s dedicated Engineering team, playing a key role in delivering a high standard of electrical and technical service for their customers.
 
Master Auto Electrician Required Qualifications:

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Auto Electrical Engineering, Vehicle Maintenance or a related discipline
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Extensive experience in commercial vehicle auto electrics
• Advanced knowledge of commercial vehicle electrical and electronic systems
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding experience
• Experience using modern vehicle diagnostic equipment

 
Master Auto Electrician Main Duties:

• Carry out electrical servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on commercial vehicles
• Diagnose and rectify complex electrical and electronic faults
• Carry out electrical inspections and testing
• Fault-find across vehicle wiring, lighting, CANbus and multiplex systems
• Install, repair and maintain vehicle electrical components and systems
• Support with MOT preparation and presentation where required
• Identify and rectify running defects and electrical faults
• Provide technical support and guidance to other Technicians where required
• Cope with the day-to-day pressures that a busy vehicle workshop brings
