Service Technician – Groundcare Machinery
Location: Takeley
Hourly Rate: £14 – 18
Hours: 40 Hours per Week, Monday- Friday with some overtime
The Role
As a Groundcare Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for keeping a range of machinery running safely and efficiently. Your work will include:
- Servicing and maintaining groundcare machinery and equipment
- Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Carrying out repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance
- Working on machinery both in the workshop and at customer sites
- Fault-finding and identifying the root cause of breakdowns
- Carrying out inspections and ensuring machinery is safe and ready for use
- Providing a professional, reliable service to customers
- Working independently while also supporting the wider workshop and field team
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Groundcare Technician, Agricultural Technician, Plant Technician, Machinery Technician or similar
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Experience servicing and repairing machinery
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- A practical, hands-on approach to work
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- A reliable, proactive and team-focused attitude
- A full UK driving licence
