Service Technician – Groundcare Machinery

Location: Takeley
Hourly Rate:  £14 – 18
Hours: 40 Hours per Week, Monday- Friday with some overtime

The Role
As a Groundcare Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for keeping a range of machinery running safely and efficiently. Your work will include:

• Servicing and maintaining groundcare machinery and equipment
• Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• Carrying out repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance
• Working on machinery both in the workshop and at customer sites
• Fault-finding and identifying the root cause of breakdowns
• Carrying out inspections and ensuring machinery is safe and ready for use
• Providing a professional, reliable service to customers
• Working independently while also supporting the wider workshop and field team

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Groundcare Technician, Agricultural Technician, Plant Technician, Machinery Technician or similar
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Experience servicing and repairing machinery
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability
• A practical, hands-on approach to work
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• A reliable, proactive and team-focused attitude
• A full UK driving licence
