Groundcare Service Technician

Location: Danbury, Essex
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 39 hours per week
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
  • Service and maintain groundcare and related machinery
  • Use diagnostic tools, fault codes and machine software
  • Troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Replace parts to manufacturer specifications
  • Complete accurate digital service and repair reports
  • Provide clear updates to managers, colleagues and customers
  • Follow health & safety procedures and PPE requirements

About You

We’re looking for an experienced, time-served Service Engineer with:

  • Proven experience with groundcare, agricultural or construction machinery
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Experience with modern electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems
  • Good customer service, IT and reporting skills
  • A practical, problem-solving approach and ability to work independently
  • Full UK driving licence
