24hr HGV / LCV Technician  
Depot location: Middlesborough
Full-time | Permanent
Money: £40,000-£50,000

Our client, a large commercial vehicle dealership group is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a commercial vehicle support team. This role combines roadside assistance with workshop-based servicing and repair. What’s in it for you

  • Base salary of £39,000

Working Pattern
Two-week rotation:

  • Week 1: 6am-2pm – Workshop 
  • Week 2: 2pm-10pm – Workshop + On standby from 10pm-6am 

Your Responsibilities

  • Attend roadside breakdowns when on-call or backup
  • Manage call-outs and escalate as required
  • Perform servicing, maintenance, and diagnostics in the workshop
  • Follow OEM training and standards (training provided)

What You’ll Bring

  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance
  • Strong diagnostic and repair capability
  • Confident working independently and with customers
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Roadside IVR and diagnostic software experience beneficial
