Mobile Plant Fitter Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Plant Fitter to join a large and well-established plant company. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified engineer with experience working on heavy plant machinery to join a reputable business offering excellent earning potential and career progression.

About the Role – Mobile Plant Fitter
As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and repair of a wide range of heavy plant machinery, ensuring all equipment remains safe, reliable and fit for purpose.
Your duties will include:

  • Carrying out routine maintenance and servicing of heavy plant machinery
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
  • Completing machinery component rebuilds
  • Using diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults
  • Carrying out safety inspections to ensure machinery meets health and safety standards
  • Ensuring all hire equipment is maintained to a high standard

What You’ll Need to Succeed as a Mobile Plant Fitter

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Heavy Vehicle or Plant Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
  • Relevant experience in a similar role within the last 2 years
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Experience working on heavy plant machinery
  • Full UK driving licence
