Role: Automatic and Industrial Door Engineer
Location: We are looking for engineers in the Southwest region 
Salary: Up to £20ph DOE (£38,480) + Door to Door
Shift: 37 hour week
Overtime: Offered at 1.5x and 2x
On Call Rota: 1/5 weeks + standby + call out bonus + overtime rates

My client, a leading national provider of Automatic and Industrial Door Systems, is looking for an experienced Automatic or Industrial Door Engineer to join their field service team. This is a secure, full-time position offering structured support, excellent benefits and genuine long-term progression opportunities. 

Importantly, you don’t need experience across every type of door system to be considered. Whether your background is primarily in automatic doors, industrial doors, loading bay equipment, gates, barriers or similar, we’d be keen to hear from you! 

Ideal candidates would be located in the Exeter, Tiverton, Taunton, Bridgwater, Yeovil, Newton Abbot, Torquay, Plymouth, Tavistock and Paignton areas 

As an Automatic and Industrial Door Engineer you will be responsible for
Repair, service & install a full range of industrial & commercial doors, gates, barriers and loading bay equipment on industrial, commercial, educational and residential properties
Preventative maintenance and emergency call-out cover
Small installations and component replacements
Ensuring accurate service reports and safe working procedures

The successful Automatic and Industrial Door Engineer will have the following experience
Background working with automatic and industrial doors, levellers, gates, or similar equipment
Flexible and self-sufficient in the field
NVQ qualification in a relevant engineering field preferred
UK driving licence required

The Automatic and Industrial Door Engineer will receive an excellent remuneration package which includes
