Depot Supervisor

Role: Depot Supervisor
Location: Stoke on Trent
Salary: £35,000 + Company Car
Shift: 37 hours

My client, a leading national provider of Automatic and Industrial Door Systems, is on the lookout for a Depot Supervisor to join their field service team. Your role will be to assist the Depot Manager achieve the goals of the business unit by utilising effective scheduling and communication while monitoring all engineer activities to ensure the delivery of an exceptional customer experience.

As a Depot Supervisor you will be responsible for
Managing and supporting the engineering team.
Planning and scheduling engineers and daily work.
Ordering and managing stock, equipment and materials.
Dealing with customer enquiries, issues and complaints.
Answering calls and managing regional emails.
Preparing RAMS and ensuring safe working practices are followed.
Ensuring company quality and safety procedures are followed.
Supporting the Depot Manager with the day-to-day running of the depot.
Raising quotes, orders and invoices.
Carrying out site and vehicle audits.
Keeping accurate records of engineers’ work and commissions.
Monitoring outstanding maintenance work and ensuring jobs are completed.

The successful Depot Supervisor will have the following experience
Good computer skills.
Well organised with good planning skills.
Good communication skills.
Able to work well as part of a team.
Able to work independently and use their own initiative.
Good leadership and people skills.
Flexible and able to adapt to changing situations.
Experience or knowledge of the door industry is desirable.
