We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer / Technician to diagnose and resolve technical issues, carry out preventative maintenance and ensure equipment operates efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

Performing servicing, maintenance and repair work on a broad range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment
Identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues
Carrying out LOLER inspections to ensure all equipment remains fully compliant
Completing safety checks and pre-delivery inspections
Responding to breakdowns and conducting reactive maintenance to reduce customer downtime
Effectively organising and managing your workload and service schedule
Accurately filling out service reports and job sheets
Communicating with parts departments to ensure the correct components are sourced and installed

Experience required:

Vehicle Technician / Forklift/Plant Technician / Plant Fitter / Agricultural technician / Powered access or similar equipment experience
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is desirable but not essential

Full UK driving licence
