Hours: Full time, permanent

Earning Potential – Salary:
£45,000 – £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate (if productive)

Overview
We’re looking for a Workshop Foreman to join a well-established commercial vehicle specialist in Warrington.

This is a leadership role – managing a team of 18 technicians and 2 apprentices, providing technical support, and ensuring the workshop runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and managing a team of 18 technicians and 2 apprentices
• Providing technical support and guidance to the workshop team
• Ensuring work is completed to manufacturer and DVSA standards
• Managing workshop workflow and allocating jobs efficiently
• Maintaining health and safety standards across the workshop
• Supporting the Service Manager with daily operations
• Assisting with diagnostics and technical queries where required
• Option to be productive if desired – not mandatory

What You’ll Need

• Proven experience leading teams of technicians in a workshop environment (essential)
• Strong technical knowledge of HGVs and commercial vehicles
• Level 3 qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or IMI) in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance (essential)
• Ability to provide technical support and guidance to a large team
• Organised, methodical, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Full, current UK driving licence – HGV licence beneficial but not essential
