Groundcare Engineer

Location: Northamptonshire
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience working on groundcare, agricultural, horticultural or similar machinery to join a professional team where you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of equipment.

The Role

Servicing, maintaining and repairing groundcare and horticultural machinery
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
Carrying out routine maintenance and preventative servicing
Preparing new and used machinery for sale or customer delivery
Attending customer sites when required to carry out repairs and servicing
Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records
Providing excellent customer service and professional technical support
Working safely and in accordance with company procedures

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Previous experience as a Groundcare Engineer, Agricultural Engineer, Plant Engineer, Horticultural Engineer or similar
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
Experience working with petrol and diesel engines
Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A full UK driving licence
A professional and customer-focused approach

Relevant manufacturer training or qualifications would be advantageous, although practical experience and technical ability are equally valued.
