Description
Role: Branch Manager
Location: Watford
Salary: £38,000 + Bonus Scheme + Company Car
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm + Saturday morning rota
My client, an established specialist within the Garage Door industry, is looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Branch Manager. This is a permanent, hands-on position where you will oversee the day-to-day running of the branch, manage a small team and support the continued growth of the operation.
As a Branch Manager you will be responsible for:
Overseeing the day-to-day running of the branch
Managing, supporting and motivating a small team
Handling customer enquiries, sales and order processing
Coordinating garage door installations and daily branch operations
Maintaining high standards of customer service
Monitoring stock levels and checking delivered goods
Working closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams
Supporting the branch in achieving its targets
Taking a hands-on approach when required, including some manual handling
The successful Branch Manager will have the following experience:
Previous management, supervisory or team leadership experience
Experience managing staff within a busy working environment
Strong customer service and communication skills
Confident dealing with customers, suppliers and colleagues
Commercially minded with experience working towards targets
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Good IT skills, including email and Microsoft Office
Full UK driving licence
Experience within garage doors, industrial doors, construction, builders merchants, home improvements or another trade-related industry would be advantageous
Experience coordinating installations or operational teams would also be beneficial
The Branch Manager will receive an excellent remuneration package which includes:
£38,000 basic salary
