Trainee Agricultural Technician
Are you looking to start a career in agricultural engineering, turf machinery or mechanical engineering?
We are recruiting Trainee Agricultural Technicians for an established business, with positions available at:
This is an entry-level role, ideal for a school or college leaver or someone looking to start a career in engineering. No previous industry experience is required, although a practical or mechanical background would be beneficial.
You will receive structured training while working alongside experienced technicians, learning to:
- Service and maintain agricultural and turf machinery
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
- Use modern diagnostic equipment
- Carry out routine servicing and maintenance
- Develop practical engineering and problem-solving skills
The 24-month development programme combines workplace experience, practical training, classroom learning and block release, leading to a Level 3 Diploma in Land-Based Engineering.

Entry requirements: GCSE Maths, English Language and Science at Grade 4 (C) or above, or a relevant Level 2 qualification / equivalent.
