Job Title: GSE/HGV Technician
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £DOE
Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week
Rotating shifts:
- 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday to Friday
- 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced GSE/HGV Technician to join their team in Edinburgh. Key Responsibilities for this Vehicle Technician role:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGV vehicles.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
- Complete scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Carry out brake, safety and diagnostic checks.
- Accurately complete job cards and maintenance records.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained to DVSA and company standards.
- Work safely in line with Health & Safety procedures.
- Participate in the on-call rota as required.
Skills and Knowledge required for the Vehicle Technician:
- Previous experience maintaining and repairing HGV vehicles.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Good mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
Qualifications required for the Vehicle Technician:
- Level 3 Motor Mechanics qualification
