Role: Automatic Door Engineer
Location: London and the surrounding areas
Salary: Up to £22ph DOE (£45,760) + Door to Door
Shift: 40 hour week
Overtime: Offered at 1.5x
On Call Rota: 1/4 weeks + standby + overtime rates

My client, a leading national provider of Automatic Door Systems, is looking for an experienced Automatic Door Engineer to join their field service team. This is a secure, full-time position offering structured support, excellent benefits and genuine long-term progression opportunities. 

Importantly, you don’t need experience across every type of door system to be considered. Whether your background is primarily in automatic doors, access controls, industrial doors, loading bay equipment, gates, barriers or similar, we’d be keen to hear from you! 

Ideal candidates would be located in the London, Buckinghamshire and surrounding counties

As an Automatic Door Engineer you will be responsible for
Carry out servicing, reactive repairs and installations on automatic door systems.
Diagnose faults and complete repairs across a range of door equipment.
Attend customer sites and complete scheduled and reactive engineering work.
Work as part of an established engineering team covering customer sites across the UK.
Participate in a 1-in-4 on-call rota.
Complete work to the required company and industry standards.
Communicate with customers and the internal team regarding work completed and any further requirements.

The successful Automatic Door Engineer will have the following experience
Previous experience working as an Automatic Door Engineer.
Experience carrying out servicing, repairs and fault finding.
Installation experience would be advantageous.
Good understanding of automatic door systems and associated equipment.
Comfortable working independently while travelling to customer sites.
Full UK driving licence.
Industrial door experience would also be advantageous.

The Automatic Door Engineer will receive an excellent remuneration package which includes
Competitive salary depending on experience

Overtime offered regularly
Company van and fuel card with personal use permitted
