Hours: 42.5 hours per week – Day shifts only
Overtime available – paid at 1.5x hourly rate

Earning Potential – Salary:
£38,700 per annum basic
£3,000 Golden Hello
Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate
Realistic OTE: £42,000 – £45,000 (including overtime)

Overview
We’re looking for a fully qualified Motor Vehicle Technician to join a leading vehicle rental specialist in Runcorn. You’ll be maintaining and repairing a mixed fleet of vans and cars, keeping them safe and legally compliant for hire. £3k Golden Hello on top of a strong basic. If you’re qualified and ready for a stable day shift role, this is the one.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining and repairing the rental fleet – vans and cars
• Ensuring vehicles are safe and legally compliant for hire
• Carrying out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs
• Completing job cards and service records accurately
• Working efficiently within a busy workshop team

What You’ll Need

• Fully qualified Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) – essential
• Proven experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Full UK driving licence
• You’ll be a great fit if you’re methodical, take pride in your work, and want a stable day shift role with a nationally recognised employer.
