Finance Manager

About the Role

Reporting to the Fractional CFO and working closely with the Directors and Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of finance function.

You’ll manage a team of three, oversee month-end, cash flow and reporting, and help improve finance processes across the group. This is a hands-on role with excellent opportunities to develop as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance operations and month-end close
• Manage and develop three finance team members
• Monitor cash flow and working capital
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Prepare management reports, board packs and financial analysis
• Ensure strong financial controls and statutory compliance
• Identify and implement process and system improvements
• Provide senior finance cover when required
• Support business growth projects, including system changes and acquisitions

About You

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified/finalist, with up to 2 years’ post-qualified experience
• Experience in an SME or fast-paced finance environment
• Strong technical accounting and Excel skills
• Experience managing and developing a team
• Confident using finance systems, ideally Xero
• Experience running end-to-end payroll
• Organised, proactive and comfortable managing competing priorities
• Strong communication skills and a hands-on approach
