Goods In Operative

Are you organised, practical and enjoy working as part of a team?

We’re looking for a Goods Inward Operative to join our friendly team at our Burgess Area branch.

You’ll play an important role in keeping our stock organised, processing deliveries and ensuring goods reach our branches efficiently. You’ll also help maintain our showroom and stores, support the Parts & Retail team, and provide excellent customer service.

What you’ll be doing

• Receiving, unpacking and organising deliveries.
• Moving stock into our stores and showroom.
• Loading and unloading our internal delivery lorry.
• Managing customer collections and deliveries.
• Carrying out stock checks and supporting the Parts team.
• Helping keep the workplace safe, tidy and well organised.

What we’re looking for

• A positive, reliable and hands-on approach.
• Good communication and basic computer skills.
• A team player who can also use their own initiative.
• Good general fitness for a practical, active role.
• A full UK driving licence.

A forklift licence would be an advantage, but isn’t essential.
